MMMM, The Buy Here Pay Here Is A Ripoff!

The economy sucks, really it does, which just strengthens weasels that want to take advantage of the less fortunate.  So, you have some credit issues because your job was let go.  Your job was let go because the business is now in the national news due to their fraudulent investments and so on.  So, now with all the thousands of people stressing on how they will manage their lifestyle, you cannot find a job.  Great, nothing worse than wanting to work and there is nothing out there.  Nothing worse than a McDonald’s tells you no because you have too much education.  So, you can be in the same boat as the person with not enough education. Just be sure to deal with dealers from Wallingford Used cars, they will take care of you.

The buy here pay here are scandalous, deviant dealers.   Not only do these blood sucking hounds take advantage of the people down on their luck, they have astronomical payments for something so small.  They know that if people want a vehicle that bad, they will pay it.  The other thing to keep their eyes on the vehicle, they make you come in once or twice a month.  Hence the “Buy Here Pay Here” theme, it directly gives them the money because they ask for cash and it keeps them in check with the vehicle too.  I agree with what has been said before, “What ever happened to good government regulation?”

In one case, a woman was a victim of her situation.  Not all of them are so bad that you think, no wonder they had to go there.  This woman, a single mother of 3, made $27,000 with bad credit.  She could not get financed from a bank or anywhere else.  She resulted this and this is the deal she got, if you want to call it a deal.  She had to put down $3,000 down on a 2007 Ford Fusion and they payments would be $387 a month for 48 months.  That has a nice interest rate of 20.4%.  Yes, that is somewhat stiff for a single mother.  Another avenue to check into before the blood sucking hounds is Carsmart, they have an excellent reputation.

So, you can play the advocate here, the dealers have to think of the loss that can occur when they do not receive the money.  No, not really, studies show that there is and average of a vehicle on that lot, that has been sold three to eight times.  Not only that but these dealers put GPS tracking devices on the vehicles so they can retrieve them when they need too.  The other piece of equipment they put on the vehicle is a remote control ignition switch, so they can shut off the vehicle.  Either way, buyer beware because this breed of people have money on the streets (as they call it) and people always protect their money.  Another safe entity to go to and see if they can work with you is Austin Hyundai Dealers.

The Needle In The Haystack!

Everyone who jumps on the Internet finds can find tons of material on anything they type in.  Sometimes there is such a vast amount of information, one consumer can become overwhelmed with the information.  Just to overwhelm you more, here is what I have found.  If you are a serious hard saving cash guy (or gal), try looking into the auctions to find deals for your next purchase.  They come and go as quick as lightning but save you thousands of dollars due to the unfortunate events of someone else’s life troubles.  Most cases the vehicles are in perfect condition, some consumers have never made a payment due to many reasons.  Some of the vehicles that end up there if the lease is up and the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

I found there is an auction website that you can go to, to purchase vehicles right online.  Mid-South Auction is located in Pearl, Mississippi and if you are a dealer, has programs to give you better buying power.  In this auction you can purchase online if you choose to or you can arrive there and bid.  The auction they are having this July 19th, 2011 will consist of all the GM models.  If you have certain make and model in mind, between the GM auction and the other auctions at this site, I am quite certain you will be able to find what you are searching for.  You could find deals at your local Sarasota Dealer, especially when they have a selection that is big.

The Mid-South Auction has a 95% buy back guarantee, just incase there is a problem with any vehicle.  They also include a inspection after sale is complete you reassure you that the vehicle is working within state requirements.  If the vehicle you have purchased is within x amount of years and the mileage is reasonable, you still have a manufacturing warranty on most vehicles.  The only one I have found that does not transfer the warranty that comes with their vehicles is Hyundai.  You do not still have the 100,000 mile warranty because it is only for the original owner.

You are the savvy saver and have some time on your hands to look for a deal, try hitting an auction.  Some consumers tend to lean away because they thought they are just for dealers, or you have to know someone.  That is not necessarily true in all cases.  Some of the auctions do have requirements but now are opening their doors to the public.  This is how your Florida Chevrolet Dealers have some of their certified vehicles on the lot for a low amount.

Tips on how to save money on a new car;

While shopping for a new car at a VA Lexus Dealership keep in mind that there are several ways in which you can save money. You do not have to accept the retail price on vehicles sold at a Kentucky Toyota dealership or any other dealership, but you can negotiate the price down to a lower amount in almost every case. But besides this there are other ways in which you can save money on a Boston Toyota vehicle. One pitfall to avoid before you buy a car is to never negotiate based on monthly payments, as this can be deceptive and difficult to understand for even an experienced car buyer.

After you have picked out the make and model that you want to buy, do some research to find out what a fair price is for your car in your region. You can ask others who have bought the same model in your region, or you can research this online. You can also get the invoice pricing of the car through Edmunds.com to help you determine the fair price of the car. There are fees that are included in the price of a car but these fees will vary in each market.

Look to see if there are any rebates available for paying for the car in cash, in many cases there are some available. After you know what a fair price is for your car you should have dealers compete with each other to give you a better deal on your car. Try to go to online loan websites to get quotes on your car, and compare them to each other. When you go to one dealer, negotiate with the dealer to as low of a price as possible. Then if you have an even lower price from a competitor, ask the dealer if he or she can beat it.

Bad credit car loan tips;

When buying a vehicle from a VA Lexus Dealership with less than perfect credit, there are a number of steps you should take to improve the chances that you get a good deal on financing and your vehicle. First, attempt to negotiate with Maryland Mercedes Dealership or whatever dealership you are looking to buy your vehicle from. Try to reduce the overall cost of the vehicle to as low of an amount as possible. This will help you to save money on the vehicle loan and this is probably the easiest way to save money when your credit is not so great. Also try to buy a quality model that requires few trips to a Service Dealer Costa Mesa.

Some lenders will only approve you for a vehicle loan if you do not have a bad credit history. In this case you should look at other lenders who are willing to work with your credit history. Or you can look to improve your credit by paying off debts and collections and working with a credit counselor to improve your score. Many dealers will end up also hooking you up to financial institutions that will charge you a premium for car financing, and this may not be a good option for you either.

If you need a vehicle really quickly and don’t mind paying more money, this might be an option for you, especially if you need a reliable vehicle for a job. In this case, you should pay back the vehicle loan as quickly as possible, so that you will be using your vehicle to make yourself more money. In this case your vehicle and car loan are an investment, but this is a rare case. In most cases you are better off finding financing before you walk into the dealership, and then negotiating.

Best used cars;

There are a number of great used car models for sale at Hyundai Dealership Maryland and other car dealerships. The 2003-2008 Hyundai Elantra is one of the best used car models on the market and used Elantras can be purchased from Hyundai Dealership Vineland. Hyundai redesigned the Elantra to be more fuel efficient and higher quality than the previous generation Elantras. Other quality used luxury models can be purchased from a Morristown Cadillac Dealer. Also check other local dealers and used car dealers for high quality used vehicles.

Some of the more recent model years for used cars have been some of the highest quality used models on the market. The 2003-2008 Toyota Camry is one of those vehicles that has continually been a high seller for its reliability and quality. The Camry has a smooth ride, is one of the safest vehicles on the market, and is also fuel efficient. The Camry can last for many years with proper maintenance. The Camry is more of a family vehicle while the Honda Accord is slightly sportier but also similar to the Camry. The Camry was redesigned in 2007 with a roomier cabin and more luxury features. This model year is also available with a V-6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2003-2008 BMW 3 Series is a great luxury used car model. These vehicles are not as expensive as some of the larger 3 series vehicles. They come with several luxury features and are a sporty ride. There is the entry level 323Ci with a smaller engine and even this model is a fast and sporty vehicle. There are other engines available and the model was redesigned in 2007 as well. The steering is sporty and responsive on this model. The chassis is also designed for performance and speed and the 3 series is a popular model among BMW enthusiasts. The 2007 model has a more powerful engine as well as all wheel drive availability and other feature  updates. Check your local dealerships for the BMW 3 series among other high quality BMW models.

Mazda2 And All It’s Many Features!

Mazda Dealer Middletown is now carrying the all new, 2011 Mazda2.  It comes with a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine that can create 100 horsepower.  It comes standard with a five speed manual transmission, but a four speed automatic is available for a little extra.  Mazda predicts the 2 to get 28 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles on the highway.  The Mazda2 comes in two different trims.  The Sport trim and the Touring trim.  Sport trim comes with power windows, power locks, jack for MP3 player and a four speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo.  The Touring trim comes with cloth seats, cruise control, six speaker stereo and steering mounted stereo controls.

The Mazda2 from Wakefield Mazda Dealership comes with a pretty basic protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a five year or 60,000 mile powertrain warranty.   Just like many vehicles from Virginia Lexus Dealership, the Mazda2 comes with a long list of safety features.  Some of them include; anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control, front airbags, side airbags for the front seats and side curtain airbags.  Electronic Stability Control comes standard.  This vehicle is the first in the US to use the new Override System.  This system cuts off the throttle if the cars brakes are being pressed.

The Mazda2 also did very well on crash tests.  The federal government gave this vehicle five stars for the ability to protect adults and four stars for the ability to protect children.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Mazda2 it’s highest ranking of “Good” in front and roof crash tests and a ranking of “Acceptable” in rear and side impact crash tests.

There weren’t to many reviews listed on this vehicle.  Some things I did find that reviewers liked was that this vehicle had a comfortable front seat, cute styling and great handling and braking.  Some of the gripes that I found listed was that the fuel economy could be better and it had a small cargo area.  That’s really not to bad in my book.  You should really take a ride to your local Mazda dealership and test drive one.  I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

8 Car Buying Tips.

• Salesmen are more willing to haggle prices on cars like the Mazda 3 Hatchback to close the deal when in the holiday season, as most people are too busy to think about buying a car from Nissan Dealers Seattle, at that time.

• Another time that is the best for getting a good deal is the period from July to October. Dealerships are trying to get rid of their inventory to make way for the new year models. And for those with our A/C during that summer, you can check out airconditioning service Bradenton.

• Do some research online, and get some quotes – optimally along with some good rebates or incentives. Print out your results from the lowest quotes and bring it with you to your local dealer. Showing them the lower quotes might compel them to give you a better deal. If not, shop around some more.

• This site has great advice, as well as incentives and rebate offers. You may be able to save thousands of dollars on your car purchase.

• A good tactic is to bring a copy of your credit score with you to the dealership. It can lower your interest rates on your car loan.

• Be suspicious of any ‘bait and switch’ tactics, such as some odd change that occurred after you initially discussed the car with the dealer. Some unscrupulous dealers will use your preference for a particular car as leverage in convincing you to stay with your choice; although, unfortunately there has been some ‘unforeseen’ change in the price or deal you originally discussed. Stick to your guns and remind them that is not what was agreed. If they don’t back down,or at least give you a concession, then it is up to you if you want to accept the difference.

• A rule of thumb is to never wait until your car is broken down and you are desperate – not only are you not thinking as clearly at a time like that, but the salesman may sense your desperation and take advantage of you. On such a major decision, try to force yourself to take action when you realize your car has issues, but while it is still running.

• Do your research before going in and subjecting yourself to high-pressure tactics. Don’t fall for any deals where you are required to make an on the spot decision. This is a big commitment and you need to be on top of the game.

The Myths Of The Book Value Of Vehicles!

Eighty percent of car buyers are using the Internet to research cars and used car prices. For vehicle research, the Internet’s great! For vehicle prices, the Internet sucks! It sucks because the prices do not reflect reality for the buyer or the seller. Web sites that place values on vehicles have created more confusion than ever.  “My car’s worth $25,800.” “I looked up used car prices on the web and my vehicle’s worth twenty grand.” I hear quotes like these everyday. I wish, for the customer’s sake, that the values are real. By “real” I mean a viable number according to market value.  The Chevy Cruze price might be all to well different from what you are expecting on either case.

As hard as it is to accept, even for me as a dealer, what we think a car is worth, and what it’s actually worth according to “market value” is often drastically different.  What is that used Chevy Avalanche really worth?

To find a vehicle’s value the context must first be discussed. What’s context?

Context includes, but is not limited to:

1) Vehicle condition: mileage, maintenance, 1-owner…etc
2) Desirability: new model, special editions, just plain cool…
3) Seasonality: plow trucks, convertibles, 4-wheel drive…etc
4) The Economy: factory incentives, gas prices, hybrids, SUVs
5) Location: Beverly Hills versus the Bronx

Now, each of the above context variables could easily have several sub categories. For example…

Vehicle condition is extremely relative. One person may think there vehicle is perfect, someone else states it needs $1000 worth of work.  Bradenton auto repair shop sees quite frequently.

Desirability is also relative. A bunch of very cool bells and whistles may not add any value, or it may add $1000’s.

Seasonality is relative. A convertible in the summer has more value than one during a Chicago winter. A plow truck in June will have significantly less value than in November in the northeast.

Economic recessions, exorbitant gas prices, combined with manufacturer incentives can shift new and used car prices all over the map.

Location has a major effect on used car prices. A convertible in California is worth more than one located in Canada.

To summarize, context funnels down to market value. Web sites such as Edmunds, NADA, and Kelley have drastically missed this mark, creating a host misinformation. To be fair, these are great research sites, but they can not be the final say on price.  Stating that a vehicle is worth a certain amount of money based on a web site’s data does not take the above factors into account. It’s a value based on misinformation.  These web sites have created an aura of trust when in actuality, the values are mythical. The market is the real indicator of vehicle worth—for better or worse.

What should one do? Buyers and sellers would be wise to follow the market. Check out autotrader.com, cars.com, and/or *ebaymotors.com and watch what vehicles are being advertised and sold for. While these sites are not the final word either, they’re much more accurate than web sites leaning heavily on opinion and averages.

Note: eBay used car pricing is generally wholesale. In other words, it would not be accurate to compare a wholesale-priced eBay car (which may need a significant amount of reconditioning) to a retail-priced vehicle in showroom and/or perfect working condition.

In the end, and this come straight from industry expert, Barry Roth, “Take the highest price and the lowest price you find on the Internet and throw them out. The remaining numbers in the middle is where one should wade. But don’t forget value. Price is one thing—value is the real key to a great car”

Trading in your car for a new one;

If you’re looking to trade in your car to a Chevy Dealer Florida for a new one, you should be aware of how much your vehicle is worth and what you can expect for it. Make sure that your vehicle is in top condition, and if there is something wrong with it, have the vehicle fixed at a Bradenton tire repair shop or other service business before you go to a used Mazda Sarasota dealer to sell your vehicle. You don’t want to give the dealer a bad deal on your car, although you might get a better price for your vehicle from a private party buyer. Try ti find out what the going rate for your car is as well before you go to the dealer.

You can find out how much you car is worth on the Kelley Blue Book which publishes data on the value of vehicles for almost every model year. Depending on the condition of your vehicle, you can expect to get around the amount listed in the Kelley Blue Book for your car. If your dealer quotes you less than what this is worth, try to bring the book to show them that they are quoting you too low. You might also wait until you trade your car back in, as you can usually sell it for more money to a private party seller.

The biggest benefit of trading in your car is that it is more convenient than having to wait until a private party buyer purchases it. You have to weigh the benefit of getting a little extra money from the costs it will take you to advertise your vehicle. You might have to purchase ads in a local publication which will cost you money or you might have to spend more time than you want in order to sell your car.

How to trade in your used car;

If you want to get the most out of your trade-in at a Chantilly Lexus Dealership, you should be aware of a few strategies and tips before going to the dealership. You can save money on a new or used car at a Ford Dealership Huntsville if you trade-in your old model, but you can also lose money if you are not aware of how much you should be getting for your car. Also be careful that you get the best price possible at an Auburn Ford Dealer or any other dealer where you trade in your vehicle, because if you aren’t aware of how much you’re supposed to be getting you can easily end up losing on the value of your vehicle. If your vehicle has been involved in an accident, even minor, this can cost you at a dealership. However, it may not cost you as much money if you sell the model to a private party seller. Always be honest about your vehicle’s history since it can be checked on CarFax anyway, but if you can get more money from a private party seller if your vehicle has been involved in an accident, go this route. It is better to wait a few weeks while you sell your car rather than trading it in right on the spot at a dealer. But, obviously trading in a vehicle is faster than going the private party seller route, so this is something to consider if you need the money for a new car sooner rather than later. When you are negotiating with a dealer, let them know what offers you have if any for your car. This way you can have more bargaining room. Some dealers are just trying to protect themselves from a vehicle that might have damage or other things wrong with it, so keep that in mind as well.
